Xiaomi Mi Max 2 Launched With Huge & Powerful 5300mAh Battery



Chinese tech giant Xiaomi has revealed its latest smartphone – Mi Max 2 – successor to the successful Mi Max – in an event in Beijing on Thursday. The new smartphone is loaded with powerful and impressive specifications.

Mi Max 2 sports a 6.44-inch full HD resolution (1920×1080 pixels) display. It comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor clocked at 2.0 Ghz, coupled with 4GB RAM. Mi Max 2 will come with 64GB and 128GB storage variants, which can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. Mi Max 2 runs Android Nougat with MIUI 8 on top.

In terms of optics, Xiaomi Mi Max 2 comes with a 12MP rear camera. It is supported by a Sony IMX386 sensor with 1.25μm large pixel size, which will help boost the low-light performance.  The front camera on the Mi Max 2 is 5MP with 85 degree wide-angle view.

Xiaomi Mi Max 2 sports a giant 5300 mAh battery. As per company’s claims, Mi Max 2 can charge up to 68 per cent in just one hour, and users can also charge other devices with this as well, as it acts like a Power bank too!

As of now, the phone will be up for sale only in China starting June 1. The pricing of Mi Max 2 starts at 1699 Yuan, which is around Rs 15,900. However, the India pricing for the phone could be different from when it is finally launched here.
